Work on the Palm is its own discipline: marine air, community rules written for a man-made island, access along a single trunk road, and owners whose neighbours notice everything. The group has designed, built and renovated here across the fronds and the crescent — described below the way our clients’ privacy requires.
Two constraints here have no equivalent elsewhere in Dubai: a marine environment that punishes any compromise in waterproofing, external material or the specification of metalwork; and an approval route that runs through Trakhees rather than Dubai Municipality. Both are reasons to appoint a contractor who has built on the Palm before rather than one who is about to.
